2 Corinthians 6
6
1Since we are co-laboring, we also urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain.
2For He says, “At a favorable time I listened to you, in a day of salvation I helped you.” Behold, now is the favorable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation.
3We give no cause for offense in anything, so that our ministry may not be blamed.
4But as God’s servants, we are commending ourselves in every way—in great endurance, in afflictions, in hardships, in distresses,
5in beatings, in imprisonments, in riots, in troubles, in sleeplessness, in hunger;
6in purity, in knowledge, in patience, in kindness, in the Ruach ha-Kodesh, in genuine love,
7in truthful speech, in the power of God; with the weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left;
8through honor and dishonor, through evil report and good report. We are regarded as deceivers and yet true;
9as unknown and yet well-known; as dying, yet behold, we live; as disciplined yet not put to death;
10as grieving yet always rejoicing; as poor yet enriching many; as having nothing yet possessing everything.
11We have spoken openly to you, O Corinthians; our heart is open wide!
12You are not restricted by us, yet you are restricted in your own feelings.
13Now in return—I speak as to my children—open wide to us also.
Preserving Sanctity in God’s Living Temple
14Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership is there between righteousness and lawlessness? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?
15What harmony does Messiah have with Belial? Or what part does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?
16What agreement does God’s Temple have with idols? For we are the temple of the living God—just as God said, “I will dwell in them and walk among them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
17Therefore, come out from among them, and be separate, says Adonai. Touch no unclean thing. Then I will take you in.
18I will be a father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says Adonai-Tzva’ot.”

Qorintiyim Bĕt (2 Corinthians) 6

1And working together, we also call upon you not to receive the favour of Elohim in vain –
2For He says, “In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in a day of deliverance I have helped you.” See, now is the well-accepted time, see, now is a day of deliverance# Isa. 49:8 –
3giving no cause of stumbling in whatever, so that the service is not blamed.
4Rather, we commend ourselves as servants of Elohim in every way: in much endurance, in pressures, in hardships, in distresses,
5in stripes, in imprisonments, in disturbances, in toils, in watchings, in fastings,
6in cleanness, in knowledge, in patience, in kindness, in the Set-apart Spirit, in love unfeigned,
7in the word of truth, in the power of Elohim, through the weapons of righteousness, on the right and on the left,
8through esteem and disrespect, through evil report and good report; regarded as deceivers, and yet true;
9as unknown, and yet well-known; as dying, and see, we live; as disciplined, and yet not killed;
10as sad, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet enriching many; as having none, and yet possessing all.
11Our mouth has spoken openly to you, O Corinthians, our heart is wide open.
12You are not restrained by us, but you are restrained by your own affections.
13But for the same reward – I speak as to children – open wide your hearts too.
14Do not become unevenly yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness and lawlessness? And what fellowship has light with darkness?
15And what agreement has Messiah with Beliya‛al? Or what part does a believer have with an unbeliever?
16And what union has the Dwelling Place of Elohim with idols? For you are a Dwelling Place of the living Elohim, as Elohim has said, “I shall dwell in them and walk among them, and I shall be their Elohim, and they shall be My people."# Lev. 26:12#See also Exo. 29:45; Lev. 26:12; Jer. 31:1; Ezek. 37:27
17Therefore, “Come out from among them and be separate, says יהוה, and do not touch what is unclean, and I shall receive you.# Isa. 52:11
18“And I shall be a Father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to Me, says יהוה the Almighty.”# Isa. 43:6; Hosea 1:10
