Psalms 103
103
(By David.)
The Lord's Wonderful Love
1With all my heart
I praise the Lord,
and with all that I am
I praise his holy name!
2With all my heart
I praise the Lord!
I will never forget
how kind he has been.
3The Lord forgives our sins,
heals us when we are sick,
4and protects us from death.
His kindness and love
are a crown on our heads.
5Each day that we live,#103.5 Each … live: One possible meaning for the difficult Hebrew text.
he provides for our needs
and gives us the strength
of a young eagle.
6For all who are mistreated,
the Lord brings justice.
7He taught his Law to Moses
and showed all Israel
what he could do.

Jas 5.11. The Lord is merciful!
He is kind and patient,
and his love never fails.
9The Lord won't always be angry
and point out our sins;
10he doesn't punish us
as our sins deserve.
11How great is God's love for all
who worship him?
Greater than the distance
between heaven and earth!
12How far has the Lord taken
our sins from us?
Farther than the distance
from east to west!
13Just as parents are kind
to their children,
the Lord is kind
to all who worship him,
14because he knows
we are made of dust.
15We humans are like grass
or wild flowers
that quickly bloom.
16But a scorching wind blows,
and they quickly wither
to be forever forgotten.
17The Lord is always kind
to those who worship him,
and he keeps his promises
to their descendants
18who faithfully obey him.
19God has set up his kingdom
in heaven, and he rules
the whole creation.
20All of you mighty angels,
who obey God's commands,
come and praise your Lord!
21All of you thousands
who serve and obey God,
come and praise your Lord!
22All of God's creation
and all that he rules,
come and praise your Lord!
With all my heart
I praise the Lord!

Psalms 103
103
The Love of God#Ps 103 Hebrew title: By David.
1Praise the LORD, my soul!
All my being, praise his holy name!
2Praise the LORD, my soul,
and do not forget how kind he is.
3He forgives all my sins
and heals all my diseases.
4He keeps me from the grave
and blesses me with love and mercy.
5He fills my life#103.5 Probable text my life; Hebrew unclear. with good things,
so that I stay young and strong like an eagle.
6The LORD judges in favour of the oppressed
and gives them their rights.
7He revealed his plans to Moses
and let the people of Israel see his mighty deeds.

Jas 5.11
The LORD is merciful and loving,
slow to become angry and full of constant love.
9He does not keep on rebuking;
he is not angry for ever.
10He does not punish us as we deserve
or repay us according to our sins and wrongs.
11As high as the sky is above the earth,
so great is his love for those who honour him.
12As far as the east is from the west,
so far does he remove our sins from us.
13As a father is kind to his children,
so the LORD is kind to those who honour him.
14He knows what we are made of;
he remembers that we are dust.
15As for us, our life is like grass.
We grow and flourish like a wild flower;
16then the wind blows on it, and it is gone —
no one sees it again.
17But for those who honour the LORD, his love lasts for ever,
and his goodness endures for all generations
18of those who are true to his covenant
and who faithfully obey his commands.
19The LORD placed his throne in heaven;
he is king over all.
20Praise the LORD, you strong and mighty angels,
who obey his commands,
who listen to what he says.
21Praise the LORD, all you heavenly powers,
you servants of his, who do his will!
22Praise the LORD, all his creatures
in all the places he rules.
Praise the LORD, my soul!
