Ps 110.1. You have been raised to life with Christ. Now set your heart on what is in heaven, where Christ rules at God's right side.#3.1 right side: The place of power and honor. 2Think about what is up there, not about what is here on earth. 3You died, which means that your life is hidden with Christ, who sits beside God. 4Christ gives meaning to your#3.4 your: Some manuscripts have “our.” life, and when he appears, you will also appear with him in glory.
5Don't be controlled by your body. Kill every desire for the wrong kind of sex. Don't be immoral or indecent or have evil thoughts. Don't be greedy, which is the same as worshiping idols. 6God is angry with people who disobey him by doing#3.6 people who disobey him by doing: Some manuscripts do not have these words. these things. 7And this is exactly what you did, when you lived among people who behaved in this way. 8But now you must stop doing such things. You must quit being angry, hateful, and evil. You must no longer say insulting or cruel things about others. 9#Eph 4.22. And stop lying to each other. You have given up your old way of life with its habits.

Eph 4.24;
Gn 1.26. Each of you is now a new person. You are becoming more and more like your Creator, and you will understand him better. 11It doesn't matter if you are a Greek or a Jew, or if you are circumcised or not. You may even be a barbarian or a Scythian,#3.11 a barbarian or a Scythian: Barbarians were people who could not speak Greek and would be in the lower class of society. Scythians were people who were known for their cruelty. and you may be a slave or a free person. Yet Christ is all that matters, and he lives in all of us.

Eph 4.2. God loves you and has chosen you as his own special people. So be gentle, kind, humble, meek, and patient. 13#Eph 4.32. Put up with each other, and forgive anyone who does you wrong, just as Christ has forgiven you. 14Love is more important than anything else. It is what ties everything completely together.
15Each one of you is part of the body of Christ, and you were chosen to live together in peace. So let the peace that comes from Christ control your thoughts. And be grateful. 16#Eph 5.19,20. Let the message about Christ completely fill your lives, while you use all your wisdom to teach and instruct each other. With thankful hearts, sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to God. 17Whatever you say or do should be done in the name of the Lord Jesus, as you give thanks to God the Father because of him.
Some Rules for Christian Living
18 #
Eph 5.22; 1 P 3.1. A wife must put her husband first. This is her duty as a follower of the Lord.
19 #
Eph 5.25; 1 P 3.7. A husband must love his wife and not abuse her.
20 #
Eph 6.1. Children must always obey their parents. This pleases the Lord.
21 #
Eph 6.4. Parents, don't be hard on your children. If you are, they might give up.
22 #
Eph 6.5-8. Slaves, you must always obey your earthly masters. Try to please them at all times, and not just when you think they are watching. Honor the Lord and serve your masters with your whole heart. 23Do your work willingly, as though you were serving the Lord himself, and not just your earthly master. 24In fact, the Lord Christ is the one you are really serving, and you know he will reward you. 25#Dt 10.17; Eph 6.9. But Christ has no favorites! He will punish evil people, just as they deserve.

Ps 110.1. If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
The Old Life and the New
5Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: 6for which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: 7in the which ye also walked sometime, when ye lived in them. 8But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. 9#Eph 4.22. Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; 10#Eph 4.24; Gen 1.26. and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: 11where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scyth´i-an, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

Eph 4.2. Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, long-suffering; 13#Eph 4.32. forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. 14And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. 15And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. 16#Eph 5.19,20. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Eph 5.22; 1 Pet 3.1. Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord. 19#Eph 5.25; 1 Pet 3.7. Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them. 20#Eph 6.1. Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well-pleasing unto the Lord. 21#Eph 6.4. Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged. 22#Eph 6.5-8. Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God: 23and whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; 24knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. 25#Deut 10.17; Eph 6.9. But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.
