CHAPTER 28
1And it was done in that year, in the beginning of the realm of Zedekiah, king of Judah, in the fourth year, in the fifth month, Hananiah, the son of Azur, a prophet of Gibeon, said to me in the house of the Lord, before the priests, and all the people, saying,
2The Lord of hosts, God of Israel, saith these things, I have all-broken the yoke of the king of Babylon.
3Yet two years of days there be, and I shall make to be brought again to this place all the vessels of the Lord, which Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, took from this place, and translated them into Babylon.
4And I shall turn to this place, saith the Lord, Jeconiah, the son of Jehoiakim, the king of Judah, and all the passing over of Judah, that entered into Babylon; for I shall all-break the yoke of the king of Babylon.
5And Jeremy, the prophet, said to Hananiah, the prophet, before the eyes of priests, and before the eyes of all the people that stood in the house of the Lord.
6And Jeremy, the prophet, said to Hananiah, Amen! so do the Lord; the Lord raise thy words which thou prophesiedest, that the vessels be brought again into the house of the Lord, and all the passing over from Babylon, to this place.
7Nevertheless hear thou this word, which I speak in thine ears, and in the ears of all the people.
8Prophets that were before me, and before thee, from the beginning, and prophesied on many lands, and on many realms, of battle, and of torment, and of hunger.
9The prophet that prophesied peace, when his word cometh, shall be known the prophet whom the Lord sent in truth.
10And Hananiah, the prophet, took the chain from the neck of Jeremy, the prophet, and brake it.
11And Hananiah, the prophet, spake in the sight of all the people, saying, The Lord saith these things, So I shall break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, after two years of days, from the neck of all folks. And Jeremy, the prophet, went into his way.
12And the word of the Lord was made to Jeremy, after that Hananiah, the prophet, brake the chain from the neck of Jeremy; and the Lord said,
13Go thou, and say to Hananiah, The Lord saith these things, Thou hast all-broken the chains of wood, and thou shalt make iron chains for them.
14For the Lord of hosts, God of Israel, saith these things, I have set an iron yoke on the neck of all these folks, that they serve Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, and they shall serve him; furthermore and I gave to him the beasts of [the] earth.
15And Jeremy, the prophet, said to Hananiah, the prophet, Hananiah, hear thou; the Lord sent not thee, and thou madest this people for to trust in leasing.
16Therefore the Lord saith these things, Lo! I shall send thee out from the face of [the] earth; in this year thou shalt die, for thou spakest against the Lord.
17And Hananiah, the prophet, died in that year, in the seventh month.

I Jeremià sy i Hananià mpaminany
1Tamin’iny taona iny ihany, izany hoe ny taona fahefatra nanjakàn’i Tsedekià mpanjakan’i Joda, andro iray tamin’ny volana fahadimy#28.1 volana fahadimy: izany hoe ny volana Jolay-Aogositra 594 tal J.K; jereo ny FTS amin’ny voambolana hoe FANISANANDRO. –Momba ny fanjakan’i Tsedekià, jereo 27.1 sy nta., dia nankao an-tranon’ny TOMPO i Hananià mpaminany, zanakalahin’i Hazora sady avy any Gibehôna. Niteny tamin’i Jeremià teo imason’ny mpisorona sy ny vahoaka rehetra teo izy, ka nanao hoe:
2–Izao no lazain’ny TOMPOn’izao rehetra izao sady Andriamanitr’i Israely:
«Hopotehiko ny ziogam-pamoretana angejan’ny mpanjakan’i Babilôna anareo. 3Ka alohan’ny roa taona manomboka androany, dia haveriko eto ireo fanaka rehetra tato an-tranoko, fanaka izay nalain’i Nebokadnetsara mpanjaka ka nentiny tany Babilôna. 4Haveriko eto koa i Jekonià, zanakalahin’i Jôiakima sady mpanjakan’i Joda, mbamin’ny Jodeanina rehetra izay nentina ho babo tany Babilôna, hoy ny teny hentitra avy amiko TOMPO. Eny, hopotehiko ny ziogam-pamoretana angejan’ny mpanjakan’i Babilôna anareo».
5Fa namaly an’i Hananià mpaminany i Jeremià teo imason’ny mpisorona sy ny vahoaka rehetra izay tao an-tranon’ny TOMPO 6ka nanao hoe:
–Eny, enga tokoa anie mba ho araka izay nolazainao no hataon’ny TOMPO! Hotanterahiny anie izay nambaranao ka haveriny avy any Babilôna hanketo indray ireo fanaka rehetra tao an-tranon’ny TOMPO miaraka amin’ny babo rehetra! 7Kanefa henoy tsara izao teny ataoko renao sy ren’ny vahoaka rehetra eto izao: 8Efa nisy tokoa mpaminany hatry ny ela talohanao sy talohako. Ireny mpaminany ireny dia manambara hafatra tamin’ireo tany matanjaka sy fanjakana malaza; nefa ady sy loza ary areti-mandringana no nambarany mazàna. 9Fa raha misy mpaminany iray milaza fahasambarana, ny ahalalana fa nirahin’ny TOMPO tokoa izy dia rehefa tanteraka izay nolazainy.
10Dia nesorin’i Hananià mpaminany ny zioga teo an-tsorok’i Jeremià mpaminany, ka nopotehiny. 11Avy eo dia hoy i Hananià teo imason’ny vahoaka rehetra teo: «Izao no lazain’ny TOMPO: ‹Alohan’ny roa taona androany, dia hopotehiko tahaka izao ny ziogam-pamoretana angejan’i Nebokadnetsara mpanjakan’i Babilôna ny firenena rehetra.› »
Dia lasa nandeha tamin’ny diany i Jeremià mpaminany.
12Saingy taorian’ny nanapotehan’i Hananià mpaminany ny zioga izay nolanjain’i Jeremià teo an-tsorony, dia nisy baikon’ny TOMPO tamin’i Jeremià nanao hoe:
13–Ndeha lazao amin’i Hananià izao hafatry ny TOMPO izao: «Satria nopotehinao ilay zioga hazo teo, dia zioga vy no hasolonao azy.»
14Sady nampian’i Jeremià hoe:
–Izao manko no lazain’ny TOMPOn’izao rehetra izao sady Andriamanitr’i Israely: «Zioga vy no apetrako eny an-tsoroky ny firenena rehetra amin’ity faritany ity, ka hanompo an’i Nebokadnetsara mpanjakan’i Babilôna izy; eny, na dia ny bibidia aza dia hampanekeko azy koa.»
15Avy eo dia hoy koa i Jeremià tamin’i Hananià mpaminany:
–Henoy tsara aho, ry Hananià: Tsy naniraka anao ny TOMPO, fa ianao no nanosika ity vahoaka ity hiantehitra amin’ny lainga. 16Koa lazain’ny TOMPO fa hoesoriny tsy ho eto ambonin’ny tany ianao; alohan’ny faran’ity taona ity, dia ho faty ianao satria nanosika ity firenena ity hikomy amin’ny TOMPO.
17Dia maty tamin’ny volana fahafito tamin’iny taona iny tokoa i Hananià mpaminany#28.17 volana fahafito: izany hoe Septambra-Oktôbra, jereo ny FTS amin’ny voambolana hoe FANISANANDRO. .
