To the Heavenly Worship Leader, Maskhil [a contemplative poem], for the sons of Korakh [Bald].
As the deer pants after the water brooks, so pants my soul after youi, O God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered].
My soul thirsts for God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], for El Chai [The Powerful Living Word of God]: when shall I come and appear before God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered]?
My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually say unto me, Where [is] youri God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered]?
When I remember these [things], I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept holyday.
Why are youi cast down, O my soul? and [why] are youi disquieted in me? hope youi in God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered]: for I shall yet praise him [for] the help of his Countenance (Face, appearance; show favor).
O my God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], my soul is cast down within me: therefore will I remember youi from the land of Yarden [Descender], and of the Hermonim [a sanctuary], from the hill Mizar [small].
Deep calls unto deep at the noise of youri waterspouts: all youri waves and youri billows are gone over me.
[Yet] the Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] will command his lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night his song [shall be] with me, [and] my prayer unto the God-El Chai’i [The Powerful Living Word of My Life].
I will say unto God-El Sal’i [The Powerful Living Word My Rock], Why have youi forgotten me? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
[As] with a sword in my bones, mine enemies reproach (disgrace; shame) me; while they say daily unto me, Where [is] youri God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered]?
Why are youi cast down, O my soul? and why are youi disquieted within me? hope youi in God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered]: for I shall yet praise him, [who is] the health of my Countenance (Face, appearance; show favor), and my God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered].
