If I did want to praise myself, that would not make me a fool. No, because I would be saying true things. But I will not say good things about myself. I want everyone to think properly about me. People should look at how I live. They should think about what I say. That is enough for them to decide about me. Yes, God did show me many things that were very special. But he did not want me to be proud because of that. So he gave me a pain in my body, like a sharp thorn. Satan uses that pain to give me much trouble. It is like Satan's angel that he sends to hurt me. That certainly stops me from being proud of myself!

3 Days
In Paul’s letter to the Corinthians, he describes a thorn in his flesh. In this plan, Dr. Tony Evans teaches about this thorn, and how it affected Paul, as well as what we can learn from it to apply to our lives today.
This is part 4 of 4 in the Feed Middle School series Unboxed: Created in God's Image. This plan unpacks Lesson 4: God's Masterpiece. God identifies us as his children. He designed us as his “masterpiece,” and through Christ, we are set free to do the good things he planned for us long before sin entered the world. We don’t need to cling to our own ideas of who we should be or what we must do. Being in Christ is enough.
4 Days
A four day devotional focusing on the redemptive power of Jesus and how to not only understand it, but also to truly experience and feel it.
What is your assignment? Once we understand THE purpose, we must learn how it looks to fulfill it daily through our assignments. Nehemiah was a cup-bearer, so why was he building a wall? This devotional will help you gain a better understanding of the difference between THE purpose and your assignment and how we can be an active participant in the work God wants to fulfill on the earth.
