Job 2:9

Vance K. Jackson leads readers in this powerful heart transforming devotional. When you focus more on your enemies, than you do God, you begin to worship and magnify the offense instead of worshipping God. When you focus on your enemy, you begin to confess, repeat and rehearse what they’ve done to you. Worship God and not your enemy. What has your heart entangled? Let God lead your heart.

Life happens! However, at times -after it happens- it leaves us bewildered, with blurred vision. Life has a way of readjusting our focus. And oftentimes, that readjustment and realignment occurs through unfortunate events. It is my prayer that we do not lose our identity and purpose when life hits hard. I hope that through your ups and downs, God would provide “Clarity In Unfortunate Events”.

This reading plan accompanies you through difficult times when suffering and doubt seem overwhelming. Using biblical stories as examples, we discover how God is close to us even in the deepest pain. The plan encourages us to trust in God's faithfulness despite hopelessness, to adopt his perspective and to find hope that goes beyond the earthly. God remains good—even in suffering.

An honest, biblical reflection on grief, fragile faith, and the God who sees unseen women.
