Faptele Apostolilor 4:1-3

The Jewish authorities could not deny Christ’s power at work, when they threatened Peter and John to stay quiet. On their release, Peter and John prayed with the church for power and boldness. The place where they were praying was shaken and all of them, not just the apostles, experienced and demonstrated God’s power. God’s grace was at work even as they all loved and shared with one another.

Is there such a thing as the baptism in the Holy Spirit? Of course! How it differs from the receiving of the spirit and where you can find it in the Bible, you can read in this plan. You will also learn why we receive the Spirit and what the effects are.

In 50 carefully selected passages from the Bible, you will discover the essential question Paul asked the Lord while he was traveling to Damascus: "What shall I do, Lord?" Have you ever asked yourself, "What difference am I making with my life?" On some level, we all struggle to find our own answer to that fundamental question. The search for significance is the underlying motivation for virtually all human activity.

The same Holy Spirit that was alive and active in the book of Acts is alive and active now. This 5-day plan will remind you that the mission of the early church is the same mission for believers today.
