Psalms 59:1-5

Do you live with regret from hasty decisions or impulsive choices? Have you ever reacted to a situation because of the pressure you felt to act? To avoid a life of destructive reaction, we must learn to watch and wait for the Lord. This divine watching and waiting is a lethal combination to defeat compulsive and impetuous decision-making. Watching for God places us in His presence, where we will be strengthened and empowered for life.

Fear is one of the most powerful emotions when someone is being persecuted. Attacks, imprisonment, closing of churches, and the death of loved ones and fellow believers due to faith can all leave us feeling fearful to move forward in our Christian journey and helpless. This reading plan is a great way to prepare yourself to face fear when facing persecution if you are fearful of it now.

Most of us feel stressed out. A lot of us have been pushed to our mental, emotional, and physical limits. So much of life is bigger than we are—it’s out of our control. Life can leave us feeling helpless and weighed down. But being stressed out is not how God wants us to live. We’ll look at what God wants us to do with the stress we feel.

Many reduce worship to singing in church when, in fact, worship is so much more. The Bible makes it clear that worship is a lifestyle!
