But you must be careful that the liberty you exercise in eating food offered to idols doesn’t offend the weak believers. For if a believer with a weak conscience sees you, who have a greater understanding, dining in an idol’s temple, won’t this be a temptation to him to violate his own conscience and eat food offered to idols? So, in effect, by exercising your understanding of freedom, you have ruined this weak believer, a brother for whom Christ has died! And when you offend weaker believers by wounding their consciences in this way, you also offend the Anointed One! So I conclude that if my eating certain food deeply offends my brother and hinders his advance in Christ, I will never eat it again. I don’t want to be guilty of causing my brother or sister to be wounded and defeated.

Christian leadership is radically different from any other form of leadership. With the church and community crying out for good leaders, this plan is the first of seven foundations for Christian leaders who are called by God to have a powerful godly influence. There is a lot of work involved in these plans, but it will be worth it. And God’s grace is where it all starts!
This video devotional plan helps you see that what looks foolish to the world actually gives you great hope.
Beliefs Part 1 is the ninth in a series of Plans that helps you establish a strong biblical foundation as a follower of Jesus. Most new Christians are not looking for a sugar-coated version of the Bible. They’re looking for truth. In this Plan, we consider some foundational Christian beliefs and explore how to respond when you find your beliefs differ from the beliefs of other Christians.

Grieving Christians face a unique challenge by way of "religious parts"—parts of the human soul that are activated around religious matters. These parts may quote Scripture to prevent us from accessing our emotions, thereby blocking our healing from grief. This reading plan introduces you to religious parts, their intentions, as well as biblical examples. You will have the opportunity to transform your own religious parts in the process.
