Take a journey with Marcus Mooki through this Spirit-led, Christ-centred 3-day devotion on grief, thoughtfully designed to guide hurting hearts toward healing, restoration, and renewed hope. This devotional journey creates a safe space for honest grieving, welcomes God’s healing presence into places of loss, and anchors the reader in the assurance that grief does not have the final word. Through Scripture, prayer, prophetic encouragement, and reflection, readers are gently led to process pain without shame, receive divine comfort, and rise again with strength, purpose, and hope in Christ.
This is the Easter Trilogy. The Church does not rush these days. Holy Week slows time. Words thin. Attention deepens. This three-day plan draws on poems from Unfinished Faith and follows the ancient rhythm of the Paschal mystery: suffering, waiting, and resurrection. There is little here to explain. The poems are offered as witness — to be read slowly, prayerfully, and without hurry.
Grief is not a straight road but a circle we revisit. It doesn’t ask permission; it arrives unannounced. Healing isn’t about “getting past it” once but learning how to meet it when it returns. As I have walked through my own loss, I have come to hold onto a few truths that I hope will steady you too: that you aren't broken when grief comes back—you're human; grief reflects how deeply you've loved; and God can gently use even this pain to help you love others. (This plan was written by Angie Mote.)
