Ruth 4:16-22

What do you do when your dreams don’t manifest? Do you forfeit your dreams? In this Bible plan, Dr. Foster encourages you to trust your heart to God and Dream Again! Who said you can’t flourish in hard times? Not the Bible! Why? Because God expects His children to trust Him as their Provider and Caregiver. Over 3,000 years ago, Ruth, a widowed Moabite refugee, experienced God’s miraculous provision of home and engrafting into the Messianic line. A shining example of how to overcome extreme difficulty, I believe Ruth’s encouragement in our hard times is one decision: “Flourish!”

God can comfort you, strengthen you, and restore you to the person he made you to be. In this study you will explore God's Word and reflect on: finding comfort in God’s Word, rebuilding and strengthening faith, and relationships. This study is part 7 of the Never Alone: Trauma Healing series. While written for the military community, the themes apply to anyone who has experienced trauma and wants to heal.

God loves to be personal and intimate with us. There is goodness, mercy, and unconditional love in His house. The Book of Ruth resounds with this message. In the conclusion of our series on Ruth, we will see the full realization of the covenant in the lives of Naomi, Ruth, Boaz, and their descendants. It is a story of redemption for them and for us!
