Revelation 16

Six Bowls of Wrath
1Then I heard a loud voice from the temple, saying to the seven angels, “Go and pour out on the earth the seven bowls of the wrath and indignation of God.” [Ps 69:24; Is 66:6]
2So the first angel went and poured out his bowl on the earth; and loathsome and malignant sores came on the people who had the mark of the beast and who worshiped his image. [Ex 9:10, 11; Deut 28:35]
3The second angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and it turned into blood like that of a corpse [foul and disgusting]; and every living #16:3 Lit soul.thing in the sea died.
4Then the third angel poured out his bowl into the rivers and the springs of water; and they turned into blood. [Ex 7:17-21] 5And I heard the angel of the waters saying, “Righteous and just are You, Who are and Who were, O Holy One, because You judged these things; 6for they have poured out the blood of the saints (God’s people) and the prophets, and You [in turn] have given them blood to drink. They deserve Your judgment.” [Ps 79:3] 7And I heard [another from] the altar saying, “Yes, O Lord God, the Almighty [the Omnipotent, the Ruler of all], Your judgments are true and fair and righteous.” [Ps 119:137]
8Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was given power to scorch humanity with [raging] fire. 9People were [severely] burned by the great heat; and they reviled the name of God who has power over these plagues, but they did not repent [of their sin] and glorify Him.
10Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom was plunged into darkness; and people gnawed their tongues because of the pain [of their excruciating anguish and severe torment], [Ex 10:21] 11and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their anguish and their sores (abscesses, boils); and they did not repent of what they had done nor hate their wickedness.
12Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river, the Euphrates; and its water was dried up, so that the way would be prepared for [the coming of] the kings from #16:12 Lit the rising sun. Using this phrase, or just the rising, was the ancient way of referring to the east. A dry Euphrates would enable massive armies to travel quickly from the region of Iraq (Babylonia) to territory north of Israel (Syria) in preparation for the battle at Har-Magedon (v 16).the east. [Is 11:15, 16]
Armageddon
13And I saw three loathsome spirits like frogs, leaping from the mouth of the dragon (Satan) and from the mouth of the beast (Antichrist, dictator) and from the mouth of the false prophet; [Ex 8:3; 1 Kin 22:21-23] 14for they are [actually] the spirits of demons, performing [miraculous] signs. And they go out to the kings of the entire inhabited earth, to gather them together for the war of the great day of God, the Almighty. 15(“Behold, I am coming like a thief. #16:15 This is the third of the seven promised blessings. See note 1:3.Blessed is he who #16:15 These are metaphorical statements referring to a believer who is always expecting the return of Christ, and maintains a lifestyle (the clothing) of which he will not be ashamed when that day comes.stays awake and who keeps his clothes [that is, stays spiritually ready for the Lord’s return], so that he will not be naked—spiritually unprepared—and men will not see his shame.”) [Matt 24:42-44; 1 Thess 5:2-4] 16And they (demons) gathered the kings and armies of the world together at the place which in Hebrew is called #16:16 The name means “mountain of Megiddo” and indicates a region west and slightly south of the Sea of Galilee.Har-Magedon (Armageddon).
Seventh Bowl of Wrath
17Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple from the throne [of God], saying, “It is done. [It is all over, it is all accomplished, it has come.]” 18And there were flashes of lightning and loud rumblings and peals of thunder; and there was a massive earthquake—nothing like it has ever occurred since mankind originated on the earth, so severe and far-reaching was that earthquake. [Ex 19:16-18; Dan 12:1] 19The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And God kept in mind Babylon the great, to give her the cup of the wine of His fierce and furious wrath. 20Then every island fled away, and no mountains could be found. 21And giant hailstones, as heavy as a #16:21 A talent weighs about a hundred pounds.talent, fell from the sky on the people; and people reviled and spoke abusively of God for the plague of the hail, because the plague was so very great. [Ex 9:22-25]

Ḥazon (Revelation) 16
16
1And I heard a loud voice from the Dwelling Place saying to the seven messengers, “Go and pour out the bowls of the wrath of Elohim on the earth.”
2And the first went and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and an evil and wicked sore came upon the men, those having the mark of the beast and those worshipping his image.
3And the second messenger poured out his bowl on the sea, and it became blood, as of a dead one, and every living creature in the sea died.
4And the third messenger poured out his bowl on the rivers and fountains of water, and they became blood.
5And I heard the messenger of the waters saying, “You are righteous, O יהוה, the One who is and who was and who shall be, because You have judged these.
6“Because they have shed the blood of set-apart ones and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink. For they deserve it.”
7And I heard another out of the slaughter-place saying, “Yes, יהוה Ěl Shaddai, true and righteous are Your judgments.”
8And the fourth messenger poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was given to him to burn men with fire.
9And men were burned with great heat, and they blasphemed the Name of Elohim who possesses authority over these plagues. And they did not repent, to give Him esteem.
10And the fifth messenger poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his reign became darkened. And they gnawed their tongues from pain.
11And they blasphemed the Elohim of the heaven for their pains and their sores, and did not repent of their works.
12And the sixth messenger poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, in order to prepare the way of the sovereigns from the east.
13And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits, as frogs,
14for they are spirits of demons, doing signs, which go out to the sovereigns of the entire world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of יהוה the Almighty.
15“See, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who is staying awake and guarding his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.”
16And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Har Meḡiddo.
17And the seventh messenger poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the Dwelling Place of the heaven, from the throne, saying, “It is done!”
18And there came to be noises and thunders and lightnings. And there came to be a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not came to be since men were on the earth.
19And the great city became divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And great Baḇel was remembered before Elohim, to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath.
20And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.
21And great hail from the heaven fell upon men, every hailstone about the weight of a talent. And men blasphemed Elohim for the plague of the hail, because that plague was exceedingly great.
