Luke 10:28-32

Luke 10:28-32 AMP

Jesus said to him, “You have answered correctly; DO THIS habitually AND YOU WILL LIVE.” [Lev 18:5; Ezek 20:11; Matt 19:17] But he, wishing to justify and vindicate himself, asked Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?” Jesus replied, “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he encountered robbers, who stripped him of his clothes [and belongings], beat him, and went their way [unconcerned], leaving him half dead. Now by coincidence a priest was going down that road, and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. Likewise a Levite also came down to the place and saw him, and passed by on the other side [of the road].
