1. Thessalonicherbrief 5:2

Find out from the Bible why procrastination results in peril.

This plan will explore what the letter of 1 Thessalonians teaches us in four major areas. 1) WHO GOD IS: God’s character and nature 2) WHO WE ARE: the identity of humanity and/or believers 3) WHAT WE BELIEVE: core Christian doctrines 4) HOW WE LIVE: putting faith into action

During Advent, not only do we anticipate an event that has already taken place – Jesus’s first coming – but we also look forward to and anticipate his second coming! In this plan, designed to be used during any of the days of the Advent season, we will reflect on 1 Thessalonians as we prepare our hearts to celebrate Christmas.

Are you ready to go deeper than surface-level faith? In this four-day devotional, Mark Biltz will help you move beneath the surface of Scripture, recognize counterfeit spirituality, align your life with God’s times and seasons, and stay faithful as “wheat” with a steady heart when the field feels confusing.
