Psalms 133

PSALM 133
Common Meter: 8,6,8,6
1Behold, how good a thing it is,
and how becoming well,
Together such as brethren are
in unity to dwell!
2Like precious ointment on the head,
that down the beard did flow,
Ev'n Aaron's beard, and to the skirts,
did of his garments go.
3As Hermon's dew, the dew that doth
on Sion' hills descend:
For there the blessing God commands,
life that shall never end.

Psalms 133
133
A song for pilgrims ascending to Jerusalem. A psalm of David.
1How wonderful and pleasant it is
when brothers live together in harmony!
2For harmony is as precious as the anointing oil
that was poured over Aaron’s head,
that ran down his beard
and onto the border of his robe.
3Harmony is as refreshing as the dew from Mount Hermon
that falls on the mountains of Zion.
And there the Lord has pronounced his blessing,
even life everlasting.
