From trusting God instead of what we build, to remembering his faithfulness, to living in obedience, this plan will help you move from intention to action. You will also be reminded that while we often fall short, our hope is not in ourselves, but in Jesus.

Along with Ezra, Nehemiah chronicles the post-exilic history of Israel. Nehemiah's leadership helped resettle Israelites in the land and rebuild Jerusalem's walls. However, Nehemiah's greatest legacy was a renewed national identity rooted in repentance of sin and obedience to God.

In this 13 day plan, you will study the book of Nehemiah, which highlights the idea of Christ vs. culture and the collision of God and government. We hope you’ll learn how to be a spirit-filled leader and persevere in God’s call for your life despite opposition from others.

Often touted as a “leadership” book, Nehemiah is rich in application. The way Nehemiah led the exiled Israelites in Persia to rebuild and reoccupy Jerusalem was as much an exercise in surrender and supplication as it was leadership and strategy. In this 21-day reading plan, we’ll look to Nehemiah as a role model in prayer, obedience, perseverance, and, yes, leadership.
