Zacarias 13:2

In 100 carefully selected passages from the Bible, you will discover who Jesus is and why he is so significant – even life-transforming. Through both Old and New Testament readings, you will discover why God sent Jesus, what Jesus taught, how he treated people, why he did miracles, the meaning of his death, the significance of his resurrection, and what the Bible says about his second coming.

Five hundred years before Jesus was born, the prophet Zechariah was already painting his portrait — a king riding a donkey, a shepherd betrayed for silver, a saviour pierced for his people, a ruler seated beside God himself. Over five days, discover how one of the Old Testament's overlooked books points with startling precision to Jesus — as priest and king, humble king, rejected shepherd, pierced redeemer, and risen Lord. Each day pairs Zechariah's ancient words with their New Testament fulfilment. If you've ever wondered whether the Old Testament really is about Jesus — this is where you'll see it for yourself.

There is a war for the love of God. This all-out war makes perfect sense since loving God is the first and most important commandment. This vital ingredient -love is how the world will know we are Christians. The Daily Nuggets of Grace is a tool to help Christians remove barriers like guilt, shame, fear, and pride while learning to abide to recover their first love for Christ.

Like Haggai, Zechariah prophesies during the post-exilic period as Israel began resettling in the Promised Land. Zechariah encourages Israel to remain faithful and prophesies of a coming righteous King who will bring salvation to His people (Zechariah 9:10). This book reminds us that we too must be to what God has called us to, always hopefully anticipating when God Himself “will be king over all the earth” (Zechariah 14:9).
