Romanos 15:24

During this 3-day devotional, Jada discusses the paradox of being on mission for God. The mission God has called us to requires a level of maturity that doesn’t rely on the applause of others. Maturity is not about the amount of knowledge you have or the actions you display. It’s being able to respond immediately to the conviction of the Holy Spirit, especially when it goes against the craving of the flesh.

Have you ever felt like you were called to more? I'm talking about that feeling in your gut that wants to leave a legacy and make an impact on the world for Jesus Christ. This study looks at the ways that God has used His followers to fulfill His call of the Great Commission.

Discipleship works against fear. As we obey God’s commands, we entrust ourselves to him. Like the students attending the schools founded by D. L. Moody in Northfield, MA, God’s people “are encouraged to test the meaning and value of the Bible’s teachings experimentally, by acting upon them, and living them out.” As we “test experimentally” the word of God, we will find that we will have fewer and fewer reasons to be afraid. Pastor Gregg Matte calls believers to live missional lives in obedience to God. Regardless of what He calls us to do, where He calls us to go, or when He calls us to do it, being obedient to God’s leading results in a life lived for eternal impact!
