Salmos 2:1

The Psalms do more than express human emotion; they point us to Jesus. In this 4-day devotional, we look at four Psalms that reveal Him as our Shepherd, our King, our Refuge in despair, and the One who removes our guilt. Each day helps you understand the Psalm in its original context and see how it is ultimately fulfilled in Christ.

Sensing that God is doing something deeper within you during a time of difficulty can lead to internal struggles and frustration. This four-day reading plan was created to help you realize that first, God’s greatest work often happens on the inside before it becomes visible on the outside. And as you journey through each day, you’ll discover how God’s presence within you produces strength, resilience, and victory, even in the face of pressure and opposition. This plan will help you shift your perspective and guide you to step boldly into God’s season for you.

God wants to prepare us to thrive as we approach the time when Jesus will return. We do not have to fear the future, but we must not be surprised by it or unprepared to face it. God is able to bring us into our true destiny. The more we know and love Him, the greater our strength and hope.

The Holy Spirit uses God’s Word to grow believers in their faith and increase their passion for Jesus. Break down the first portion of the book of Psalms into the “Big Picture” of the passage, then “Digging Deeper” into that section, and then move into “Living Out” the lessons that are taught in the passage in this 5-day reading plan.
