Salmos 113:2

Encouragement from a mom who launched her seven children and lived to tell about it. Part 8 of 12 devotions in this series from Robin Meadows.

“Mom.” A word heavy with meaning and varying characteristics, yet every vibrant definition is anchored in commonality and deserves to be seen, known, and celebrated. This study will inspire you to “look” at yourself and other moms through the lens of the Almighty God and encourage you to build communities that celebrate motherhood in all its sticky, beautiful, exhausting, amazing glory. We all want to know why we are here; to know God's purpose for our lives. And knowing this starts with knowing what God says about us in His Word. In this devotional series, join Brian Dembowczyk as he helps us discover who God says we are so we can embrace the life God has for us in the gospel.

Sometimes the greatest obstacle to faith isn’t God Himself. It’s the picture of God we’ve been carrying around. A God who’s distant. Disappointed. Keeping score. But what if that picture is wrong? Over the next six days, we’ll look at who God really is, straight from Scripture. A God who stoops low to bury His friend. A God who runs toward us before we can finish our apology. A God who forgets our worst moments and chooses the most unlikely people. When we can see God clearly, we find He's very hard to walk away from.
