Provérbios 12:3

The opposite of mastery is mediocrity, and mediocrity is nothing less than a failure of love and a misrepresentation of the image of God. In this Plan, you’ll explore why Christians should have the highest standards of excellence in our work, what we should be looking for in our “one thing,” and how you can achieve mastery of your vocation for the glory of God and the good of others.

You make hundreds of decisions every day. Some big, some small. Are you choosing wisely? This is where Proverbs comes in. Proverbs is a book of wise advice and is meant to be used as a tool to navigate daily decisions. In this five-day reading plan, Bible study author Andy Klenke will guide you through the wisdom of Proverbs so you can apply it directly to your everyday life.

Where are you rooted? Without your sports, who are you? The closer we are to God and the deeper we build our roots in Him and His Word, and the closer we come to being 100%. While this new 100% identity does not come without challenge, God promises never to leave us or forsake us especially when times get tough.

Your spiritual root system can’t survive with shallow roots. We’re to grow deep into God and take seriously the responsibility to produce fruit in God’s kingdom. With all the multiplying distractions in the world, it’s easy to let our roots grow into shallow, self-serving disciplines. To be consistent in our spiritual growth and remain faithful, allow God to develop your roots to reach a deeper level.
