Mateus 16:20

Easter is a time of deep celebration and hope - but what do you do when you don't overly feel like celebrating? What happens when life doesn't quite turn out like you hoped? The reality is that the disciples felt the same way in the days before the Resurrection. You are in good company, take heart.

1 Peter was written to early Christians scattered throughout Asia Minor. Peter called his beloved readers “elect exiles” because they were suffering for their faith and longing for their heavenly home. Desiring to encourage them to live victoriously while trusting the Lord, he identified three living things they had in their sojourning. You also have these things, Christian: a living hope, the living Word, and the living stone–Jesus Christ himself.

The foundations of the "WHO AM I" question will either lead to a life of striving and fear or peace and contentment. Knowing what determines your value and worth is vital to living a thriving life in peace. This reading plan presents a truth foundation on which to build your identity. Do you know the truth about WHO YOU ARE?

Explore the setting and significance behind one of Jesus’s most stunning declarations: “I will build My church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Spoken in the shadows of shrines and false gods, His words were a response to revelation, not chaos. This three-day journey unpacks how that confession—and Christ’s promise—still dismantle fear, control, and self-rule. Written by Joe Riddle, Founder of Danger Close Consulting.
