Levítico 23:39

Life moves quickly, and it’s easy to forget what God has already done. In Scripture, Samuel built an Ebenezer (stone altar) to remind God’s people of His faithfulness. This three-day reading plan will help you pause, remember God’s provision, celebrate His goodness, and look ahead with confidence. Through biblical reflection and personal application, you'll discover how remembering God’s past faithfulness strengthens your faith for whatever lies ahead.

Consider not only the lilies of the field, but all the plants, trees, herbs, shrubs, and flowers that play a role in the biblical narrative. The Bible is peppered with allusions to the plants that were a part of daily life in the ancient Near East and New Testament Israel. With original illustrations, this devotional clarifies the biblical references to five different plants while providing meaningful insights into God’s Word.

The seven feasts outlined in the Old Testament were not just significant for the Israelites, they are significant to us today because they are symbolic of God’s perfect plan. For believers today, these feasts represent freedom because Jesus came to set us free. As you go through this plan, allow Jesus to reveal Himself to you. When you feast on Jesus, you’ll be set free!

Leviticus is the book most readers intend to read and the fewest finish. Where Exodus brings liberation, Leviticus stops the narrative and replaces it with instruction — sacrifice, purity codes, a holiness code covering everything from worship to wages. What looks like a detour is the Torah’s heart: the God who freed Israel now lives in the camp. How does a people that is not holy live in the presence of a God who is? Over seven days, this plan traces Leviticus’s answer — and finds it is less about burden than about grace.
