Josué 23:11

The Bible provides us with numerous examples of what trusting the Lord and walking with Him looks like when we are older. Let this 5-day plan help you reflect on the truth that your later years can be a time of great blessing, giving you the opportunity to pass your wisdom onto those around you and to enjoy the fruit of a life walked faithfully with God.

We live in times when the wedding is considered to be a destination rather than the beginning of a lifelong journey. Extravagant spending happens for that one day but sadly no one knows what to expect in this journey. We can relate our married life with Israel’s journey to Canaan from Egypt. It’s our prayer that God would help you identify where you are in this lifelong expedition.

Joshua was commissioned to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land. But he was also just like every other man. Like every one of us. He too had uncertainties, daunting challenges, changing environments and aging seasons. The Promised Land was a physical conquest set before Joshua. Likewise, every man today also has a promised land set before him by God. An invitation to the life God has planned for you, your family, your community and your workplace.

“The war is over - God has given your brothers rest.” We also have an inheritance, and the war is over. Jesus won every battle on the cross. This plan covers the central theme of Joshua - Love God and serve Him if you want to enjoy His blessings. This stand-alone plan is also part 9 of a 10 part series.
