Isaías 49:5

God makes Himself known numerous times in the Bible as the God of Israel. He is Israel's Deliverer and it is through Israel that He wants to bless the whole world. What does it mean that God is the King of Israel? You'll find out in this reading plan! Will you join us?

Biola University's Center for Christianity, Culture & the Arts is pleased to share the annual Advent Project, a daily devotional series celebrating the beauty and meaning of the Advent season through art, music, poetry, prayer, Scripture, and written devotions. The project starts on the first day of Advent and continues through Epiphany. Our goal is to help individuals quiet their hearts and enter into a daily routine of worship and reflection during this meaningful but often hectic season. Our prayer is that the project will help ground you in the unsurpassable beauty, mystery, and miracle of the Word made flesh.

Walk the final days of Jesus from Palm Sunday to Holy Saturday — rooted in historic liturgy, grounded in Scripture, and praying for the unreached. From the cry of “Hosanna” to the silence of the tomb, this study invites you to slow down and dwell deeply in Christ’s humility, suffering, and victory. As you follow Jesus toward the cross and the grave, you also pray for future churches among the nations — asking that every tribe and tongue would know the salvation He has accomplished. Ancient faith. Global prayer. Here is salvation.

In Holy Week, we encounter a God who moves ever closer to us, even in our brokenness and shame. Yet what lies before us is a question: will we return to the Lord? This year, through repentance and renewal, let us be ready to greet the Lord at his Resurrection. This plan is an excerpt from Dwell's Lenten devotional, "Return," available in its entirety within the Dwell Bible App.
