Isaías 30:2

This study will encourage the creation of a Christ-centered personal Mission Statement or Statement of Purpose that can be used as a “North Star” for navigating life. It will discuss having an eternal vision based on God’s purpose and priority.

God’s ways are not our ways. He does not adjust His ways over time nor accommodate them to our feelings or preferences. But He is willing to reveal them to us. They are found in His Word, and they haven’t changed. Never be satisfied merely seeing the acts of God. In this five-day devotional by Richard Blackaby, explore Scripture to move from seeing God’s actions to being intimately familiar with His ways.

Join us on this journey to deepen your relationship with Jesus. This is part one of eight in the "Jesus, I Need You" series by Thistlebend Ministries. See also Jesus, I Need You (companion prayer).

Jesus offers abundant life to those who follow him, but many Christians are stuck in the try-harder life instead. This seven-day study beckons readers into the garden and invites them to listen for the heart of God. Just as plants thrive under the care of a skilled gardener, we’ll move from surviving to thriving as we embrace God’s good gifts designed to help us flourish.
