Isaías 1:9

Following God isn’t about striving; it’s about trusting. Join Melissa Spoelstra for this 5-day study and discover that Isaiah’s words reveal you can trust God more than your own human effort or the counterfeits the world suggests. You won’t be striving harder, but instead trusting more deeply the Faithful One who is worthy of our utter dependence. In Him you'll find the comfort and peace you need to sustain you.

Christians are different. They can’t help it. When you’re born again and filled with the Spirit, it changes you. This leads to different values about right and wrong and a different lifestyle to match it. This series of 5-day plans uses the 10 Commandments (following the classic Augustinian ordering) as a vehicle for an alternative, Christ-like morality and Jesus-way of living.

Psalm 11:3 (NIV) says “When the foundations are being destroyed, what can the righteous do?" In our world today, there are two foundational truths that are being undermined: the biblical idea of justice and the role of women in society. This is not an accident. Women, in their divine design, are indispensable to show humanity the mercy of God and His way to accomplish justice.

“In these next days and weeks leading up to Easter, we’ll explore different scriptures. Each verse a thread in the tapestry of God’s great big redemption story – all culminating in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. In this Easter season, let’s slow down and create a regular rhythm of remembrance together.” (Lent – Lucy Weil)
