Gênesis 22:3

Jehovah-Jireh—The Lord Will Provide. In the story of Abraham and his son Isaac, Abraham did not question God, but knew His ability to provide. In this plan, Tony Evans teaches on the power of the name, and how the story of Abraham affects us today.

The God Provides series offers a rich, dramatic journey through theater-quality, short films which show us wisdom, truth, encouragement and practical steps to deepen a relationship of trust with God. This session highlights the true story of Abraham and Isaac, his son. God used this test of obedience to see whether or not Abraham trusted Him fully and would, in faith, obediently make everything he had available for God’s use.

Abraham was a man who found himself tested by God. By passing his various tests of faith, Abraham proved himself to be someone who fully trusted in God. Bestselling author Tony Evans reminds us that we will all be faced with tests, even if they are not as extreme as those Abraham went through. But as they did for him, so they offer us an opportunity for growth.

This devotional plan, and the song of the same title, are written to help people overcome obstacles, grief, and uncertainty by understanding that God has a Perfect Plan for their lives. Draw near to God, so His Path can be clear to you.
