Many of us feel sometimes like the whole world is against us. But are things really as we see them? David went on a journey from being a shepherd boy to being anointed, king. Along the way God prepared him to be the great leader he was intended to be. Let’s position ourselves in a place of surrender, keep our eyes on the Lord and follow his lead too!

We don't fall out of alignment overnight. We drift quietly, comfortably, one skipped morning at a time. Over seven days, walk through the life of David: the field before the palace, the private before the public, the alignment before the authority. Each day confronts one area of comfort head-on: control, delayed obedience, distraction, reaction, and the things you keep managing instead of removing. This isn't hype. It's a heart realignment. You'll build a daily rhythm of Word, prayer, and stillness, and take one concrete step of obedience every single day. Come ready to be honest. Leave walking differently.

2 Samuel depicts the ascension and reign of King David following the death of Saul and Jonathan. David united the kingdom, established Jerusalem as the capital city, and extended the territory of Israel. At the crescendo of the book, God promises David that "your throne shall be established forever" (2 Samuel 7:16). Despite David's wickedness, God ultimately fulfills his promises to David through the person and work of Jesus Christ.
