2Samuel 23:9

In this 5-day devotional, you’ll walk through the lives of David’s mighty men and discover the power of hidden faithfulness, unshakeable courage, defending God-given territory, sacrificial loyalty, and how God uses unlikely people to accomplish extraordinary things. Their stories will challenge you, inspire you, and remind you that God still shapes ordinary believers into mighty warriors. This plan will help you step into your calling with boldness and faith.

Loneliness is an uncomfortable word for men. The first “not good” moment in Creation was when God saw that Adam was alone (Genesis 2:18). Loneliness was a concern for God right from the beginning. Over the next week, we will look into what the Bible says about loneliness and see the hope Jesus offers men.

We know David, Moses, Abraham, Peter, and Paul. But Scripture is also filled with men whose names rarely make the sermon title—men who built, fought, served, stayed, and stood firm when others walked away. This 7-day plan uncovers the stories of seven overlooked men whose faithfulness mattered to God. Because God isn’t only looking for men who can stand on platforms. He’s looking for men who will stand their ground.
