2Crônicas 3:2

By the end of this study, we pray that you will know God’s voice better, that you will know when and how he speaks, and feel compelled to obey. As we study Scripture, we will discover that God’s plan cannot be thwarted regardless of who is in power. The point of the original monarchy found in 1 and 2 Samuel, illustrates that from the beginning.

In the beginning was the Word … but what came next? This plan is for anyone who wants a better understanding of the Bible. It provides a chronological reading program that endeavors to place all biblical passages in their date order. Part Five of this twelve-part one-year reading plan is titled 'David’s Decline, Solomon’s Reign, 1023 BC–980 BC'.

May – No complicated content, just a monthly chronological journey through the Bible. The Bible isn’t arranged in the order events happened; it’s organized by genre. May centers on King David’s final years, Solomon’s rise, and a deep immersion into the Psalms and Proverbs. You’ll move between Israel’s history and its songs, prayers, and wisdom, seeing how worship, leadership, and daily life intertwine. This month reveals a God who listens, instructs, and gives wisdom, showing how faith is lived out in both triumph and reflection as His story continues to unfold.
