Revelation of Yeshua to Yochanan (Rev) 1
1
1This is the revelation which God gave to Yeshua the Messiah, so that he could show his servants what must happen very soon. He communicated it by sending his angel to his servant Yochanan, 2who bore witness to the Word of God and to the testimony of Yeshua the Messiah, as much as he saw. 3Blessed are the reader and hearers of the words of this prophecy, provided they obey the things written in it! For the time is near!
4From: Yochanan
To: The seven Messianic communities in the province of Asia:
Grace and shalom to you from the One who is, who was and who is coming; from the sevenfold Spirit before his throne; 5and from Yeshua the Messiah, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead and the ruler of the earth’s kings.
To him, the one who loves us, who has freed us from our sins at the cost of his blood, 6who has caused us to be a kingdom, that is, cohanim for God, his Father — to him be the glory and the rulership forever and ever. Amen.
7Look! He is coming with the clouds!
Every eye will see him,
including those who pierced him;
and all the tribes of the Land will mourn him.
Yes! Amen!
8“I am the ‘A’ and the ‘Z,’” says Adonai,
God of heaven’s armies,
the One who is, who was and who is coming.
9I, Yochanan, am a brother of yours and a fellow-sharer in the suffering, kingship and perseverance that come from being united with Yeshua. I had been exiled to the island called Patmos for having proclaimed the message of God and borne witness to Yeshua. 10I came to be, in the Spirit, on the Day of the Lord; and I heard behind me a loud voice, like a trumpet, 11saying, “Write down what you see on a scroll, and send it to the seven Messianic communities — Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea!” 12I turned around to see who was speaking to me; and when I had turned, I saw seven gold menorahs; 13and among the menorahs was someone like a Son of Man, wearing a robe down to his feet and a gold band around his chest. 14His head and hair were as white as snow-white wool, his eyes like a fiery flame, 15his feet like burnished brass refined in a furnace, and his voice like the sound of rushing waters. 16In his right hand he held seven stars, out of his mouth went a sharp double-edged sword, and his face was like the sun shining in full strength.
17When I saw him, I fell down at his feet like a dead man. He placed his right hand upon me and said, “Don’t be afraid! I am the First and the Last, 18the Living One. I was dead, but look! — I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys to Death and Sh’ol. 19So write down what you see, both what is now, and what will happen afterwards. 20Here is the secret meaning of the seven stars you saw in my right hand, and of the seven gold menorahs: the seven stars are the angels of the seven Messianic communities, and the seven menorahs are the seven Messianic communities.

The Revelation of Jesus Christ
1The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: 2who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. 3Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

A Vision of the Son of Man
9I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. 10I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, 11saying, I am Alpha and Ome´ga, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Per´gamos, and unto Thy-ati´ra, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto La-odice´a.
12And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; 13#Dan 7.13; Dan 10.5. and in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. 14#Dan 10.6.#Dan 7.9. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; 15#Ezek 1.24. and his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. 16And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

Isa 44.6; 48.12; Rev 2.8; 22.13. And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: 18I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell#1.18 hell, Greek Hades. and of death. 19Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter; 20the mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.
