Tehillim (Psa) 28

1By David:

Adonai, I am calling to you;

my Rock, don’t be deaf to my cry.

For if you answer me with silence,

I will be like those who fall in a pit.

2Hear the sound of my prayers

when I cry to you,

when I lift my hands

toward your holy sanctuary.

3Don’t drag me off with the wicked,

with those whose deeds are evil;

they speak words of peace to their fellowmen,

but evil is in their hearts.

4Pay them back for their deeds,

as befits their evil acts;

repay them for what they have done,

give them what they deserve.

5For they don’t understand the deeds of Adonai

or what he has done.

He will break them down;

he will not build them up.

6Blessed be Adonai,

for he heard my voice as I prayed for mercy.

7Adonai is my strength and shield;

in him my heart trusted, and I have been helped.

Therefore my heart is filled with joy,

and I will sing praises to him.

8Adonai is strength for [his people],

a stronghold of salvation to his anointed.

9Save your people! Bless your heritage!

Shepherd them, and carry them forever!

도움을 호소하는 기도

(다윗의 시)

1나의 반석이신 여호와여,

내가 부르짖습니다.

나에게 귀를 기울이소서.

주께서 나에게 대답하지 않으시면

내가 죽은 자와

다름이 없을 것입니다.

2내가 주의 성소를 향해 손을 들고

주께 부르짖을 때

나의 간구하는 소리를 들으소서.

3악을 행하는 악인들과 함께

나를 벌하지 마소서.

그들은 자기 이웃에게

다정하게 말하지만

그 마음에는 증오가 가득합니다.

4그들에게 마땅히 받아야 할

벌을 주시고

그들의 악한 소행대로 갚아 주소서.

5그들은 여호와께서 행하신 일과

그가 만드신 것에 관심이 없으므로

여호와께서 그들을

# 28:5 암시됨. 낡은 집처럼 헐고

다시는 세우지 않으시리라.

6여호와를 찬양하라.

그가 나의 부르짖는

소리를 들으셨다.

7여호와는 나의 힘과 나의 방패시니

내가 그를 신뢰하여

도움을 얻었다.

그래서 내가 크게 기뻐하며

그에게 찬송으로 감사하리라.

8여호와는 자기 백성을 보호하시고

자기가 택한 왕을 지키시며

구하신다.

9여호와여, 주의 백성을

구원하시고 축복하시며

그들의 목자가 되셔서

영원히 보살피소서.
