Tehillim (Psa) 20

1For the leader. A psalm of David:

2May Adonai answer you in times of distress,

may the name of the God of Ya‘akov protect you.

3May he send you help from the sanctuary

and give you support from Tziyon.

4May he be reminded by all your grain offerings

and accept the fat of your burnt offerings. (Selah)

5May he grant you your heart’s desire

and bring all your plans to success.

6Then we will shout for joy at your victory

and fly our flags in the name of our God.

May Adonai fulfill all your requests.

7Now I know that Adonai

gives victory to his anointed one —

he will answer him from his holy heaven

with mighty victories by his right hand.

8Some trust in chariots and some in horses,

but we praise the name of Adonai our God.

9They will crumple and fall,

but we will arise and stand erect.

10Give victory, Adonai!

Let the King answer us the day we call.

승리를 위한 기도

(다윗의 시. 성가대 지휘자를 따라 부른 노래)

1네가 환난을 당할 때

여호와께서

네 기도에 응답하시고

야곱의 하나님이 너를 보호하시며

2성소에서 너를 도우시고

시온에서 너를 붙드시기 원한다.

3그가 너의 모든 예물을 기억하시고 너의 모든 제사를 기쁘게 받으시며

4네 마음의 소원을 들어주시고

너의 모든 계획을

이루어 주시기 바라노라.

5네가 승리했다는 소식을 들으면

우리가 기쁨의 함성을 올리고

우리 하나님의 이름으로

우리 깃발을 높이 쳐들리라.

여호와께서 너의 모든 요구를

들어주시기 원한다.

6여호와께서 자기가 택하여

세운 자를

구원하시는 줄 이제 내가 알았으니

그가 하늘 높은 곳에서

저에게 응답하시고

그의 능력으로 저에게

큰 승리를 주시리라.

7어떤 나라들은

군대와 그 무기를 자랑하나

우리는 여호와 우리 하나님의

이름을 자랑하노라.

8그들은 비틀거리고 넘어지나

우리는 일어나 든든히 서리라.

9여호와여, 왕에게 승리를 주시고

우리가 부르짖을 때 응답하소서.
