Tehillim (Psa) 1

Book I: Psalms 1–41

1How blessed are those

who reject the advice of the wicked,

don’t stand on the way of sinners

or sit where scoffers sit!

2Their delight

is in Adonai’s Torah;

on his Torah they meditate

day and night.

3They are like trees planted by streams —

they bear their fruit in season,

their leaves never wither,

everything they do succeeds.

4Not so the wicked,

who are like chaff driven by the wind.

5For this reason the wicked

won’t stand up to the judgment,

nor will sinners

at the gathering of the righteous.

6For Adonai watches over

the way of the righteous,

but the way of the wicked

is doomed.

(1－41)

복 있는 사람

1복 있는 사람은

악한 자들의 말을 듣지 않고 죄인들을 본받지 않으며

# 1:1 암시됨. 하나님을 조롱하는 자들과

어울리지 않고

2여호와의 율법을 즐거워하며

그 율법을 밤낮 묵상하는 자이다.

3그는 시냇가에 심은 나무가

철을 따라 과실을 맺고

그 잎이 마르지 않는 것처럼

하는 일마다 다 잘 될 것이다.

4그러나 악인들은 그렇지 않으니 그들은 바람에 나는

겨와 같을 뿐이다.

5그러므로 악인들이

심판 날에 무사하지 못하고

죄인들이 의로운 자들 가운데

서지 못할 것이다.

6의로운 사람의 길은

여호와께서 지키시나

악인의 길은 파멸에 이를 것이다.
