Messianic Jews (Heb) 1
1
1In days gone by, God spoke in many and varied ways to the Fathers through the prophets. 2But now, in the acharit-hayamim, he has spoken to us through his Son, to whom he has given ownership of everything and through whom he created the universe. 3This Son is the radiance of the Sh’khinah, the very expression of God’s essence, upholding all that exists by his powerful word; and after he had, through himself, made purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of HaG’dulah BaM’romim.
4So he has become much better than angels, and the name God has given him is superior to theirs. 5For to which of the angels did God ever say,
“You are my Son;
today I have become your Father”?
Also, God never said of any angel,
“I will be his Father,
and he will be my Son.”
6And again, when God brings his Firstborn into the world, he says,
“Let all God’s angels worship him.”
7Indeed, when speaking of angels, he says,
“. . . who makes his angels winds
and his servants fiery flames”;
8but to the Son, he says,
“Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever;
you rule your Kingdom with a scepter of equity;
9you have loved righteousness and hated wickedness.
Therefore, O God, your God has anointed you
with the oil of joy in preference to your companions”;
10and,
“In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth;
heaven is the work of your hands.
11They will vanish, but you will remain;
like clothing, they will all grow old;
12and you will fold them up like a coat.
Yes, they will be changed like clothing,
but you remain the same,
your years will never end.”
13Moreover, to which of the angels has he ever said,
“Sit at my right hand
until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet”?
14Aren’t they all merely spirits who serve, sent out to help those whom God will deliver?

1God having spoken in many parts and in many ways formerly to the fathers in the prophets, 2at the end of these days has spoken to us in the person of the Son, whom he has established heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 3who being the effulgence of his glory and the expression of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, having made by himself the purification of sins, set himself down on the right hand of the greatness on high,
4taking a place by so much better than the angels, as he inherits a name more excellent than they. 5For to which of the angels said he ever, Thou art my Son: this day have I begotten thee? and again, I will be to him for father, and he shall be to me for son? 6and again, when he brings in the firstborn into the habitable world, he says, And let all God's angels worship him. 7And as to the angels he says, Who makes his angels spirits and his ministers a flame of fire; 8but as to the Son, Thy throne, O God, is to the age of the age, and a sceptre of uprightness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. 9Thou hast loved righteousness and hast hated lawlessness; therefore God, thy God, has anointed thee with oil of gladness above thy companions. 10And, Thou in the beginning, Lord, hast founded the earth, and works of thy hands are the heavens. 11They shall perish, but thou continuest still; and they all shall grow old as a garment, 12and as a covering shalt thou roll them up, and they shall be changed; but thou art the Same, and thy years shall not fail. 13But as to which of the angels said he ever, Sit at my right hand until I put thine enemies as footstool of thy feet? 14Are they not all ministering spirits, sent out for service on account of those who shall inherit salvation?
