Every wise woman buildeth her house; But the foolish plucketh it down with her own hands. He that walketh in his uprightness feareth Jehovah; But he that is perverse in his ways despiseth him. In the mouth of the foolish is a rod for his pride; But the lips of the wise shall preserve them. Where no oxen are, the crib is clean; But much increase is by the strength of the ox. A faithful witness will not lie; But a false witness uttereth lies. A scoffer seeketh wisdom, and findeth it not; But knowledge is easy unto him that hath understanding. Go into the presence of a foolish man, And thou shalt not perceive in him the lips of knowledge. The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way; But the folly of fools is deceit. A trespass-offering mocketh fools; But among the upright there is good will. The heart knoweth its own bitterness; And a stranger doth not intermeddle with its joy. The house of the wicked shall be overthrown; But the tent of the upright shall flourish. There is a way which seemeth right unto a man; But the end thereof are the ways of death. Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful; And the end of mirth is heaviness.

5 Days
Encouragement from a mom who launched her seven children and lived to tell about it. Part 5 of 12 devotionals in this series from Robin Meadows!
In this new 5-day reading plan, author Sandra Byrd shares biblical insights and reveals God’s guiding hand in every detail of your day-to-day life.
You may feel anxious about sending your children into a world that too often feels dark and scary. But you can prepare your kids to live in the real world by equipping them with a sound mind and a foundation of faith. With God’s Word, you can raise emotionally healthy and spiritually strong children who not only remain unshaken by the world but also make a positive impact on it.
Created from Jessie Senecas’ Bible study by the same name, in this 5 day plan, you can become a more confident and wiser mom as you journey toward parenting with intention. No matter whether you’re a first-time mom or a mom who now has grandchildren, you’ll grow in your walk with God through Bible application, thought-provoking questions to answer, and action steps to help you be the difference in your children’s—and family’s—lives. This plan doesn’t have the power to make you the perfect mom, but it can help you become a mom who lives with purpose.
