2 Samuel 7:14-15

Jesus had departed for his final entry into Jerusalem. Death loomed less than two weeks away. In His characteristic and radical unselfishness, Jesus stopped for a final man before reaching Jerusalem. This would be the last healing He would perform before His final entry into the city to face the cross. In this reading pal, we'll take a deeper look at the story of the Bartimaeus and his healing.

"Who matters to?" is a question we all must answer at some point. However, the answer lies within another question, so when this world challenges us to answer, God already has an answer waiting.

Fatherhood can seem like a daunting task, and for good reason. According to Scripture, dads are the ones who are entrusted with the privilege and responsibility of leading their families, which includes guiding them to the Father, and living out an example of godliness while correcting, disciplining, and lovingly building into the lives of their sons and daughters.
