Psalms 70

For the choir director: A psalm of David, asking God to remember him.

1Please, God, rescue me!

Come quickly, Lord, and help me.

2May those who try to kill me

be humiliated and put to shame.

May those who take delight in my trouble

be turned back in disgrace.

3Let them be horrified by their shame,

for they said, “Aha! We’ve got him now!”

4But may all who search for you

be filled with joy and gladness in you.

May those who love your salvation

repeatedly shout, “God is great!”

5But as for me, I am poor and needy;

please hurry to my aid, O God.

You are my helper and my savior;

O Lord, do not delay.

1ข้าแต่พระเจ้า โปรดช่วยกู้ข้าพเจ้าด้วยเถิด

ข้าแต่พระยาห์เวห์ รีบมาช่วยข้าพเจ้าด้วยเถิด

2ขอให้คนเหล่านั้นที่มุ่งเอาชีวิตของข้าพเจ้าได้รับความอับอาย และพบกับความพ่ายแพ้

ขอให้คนเหล่านั้นที่อยากจะทำร้ายข้าพเจ้าพากันล่าถอยกลับไปและได้รับความอัปยศอดสู

3ขอให้คนพวกนั้นที่พูดเยาะเย้ยว่า “เสร็จแน่ เสร็จแน่”

ได้รับความอับอายมากซะจนพูดไม่ออก

4ขอให้คนเหล่านั้นที่เสาะแสวงหาพระองค์ มีความชื่นชมยินดี และมีความสุข

ขอให้คนเหล่านั้นที่รักความรอดที่มาจากพระองค์ ได้พูดแล้วพูดอีกว่า “พระเจ้านั้นยิ่งใหญ่”

5ข้าพเจ้านั้นยากจนและไม่มีใครช่วยเหลือ

ข้าแต่พระเจ้า รีบมาหาข้าพเจ้าด้วย

พระองค์ เป็นผู้ที่ช่วยเหลือข้าพเจ้าและผู้ช่วยกู้ข้าพเจ้า

ข้าแต่พระยาห์เวห์ อย่าได้ชักช้าอยู่เลย
