When I started fasting, I didn't understand the purpose of it. I was simply participating in an activity in my church. Since then, I have discovered the power of fasting, and its impact on my life has been enormous. I invite you to discover with me one aspect of fasting: the development of spiritual hunger.

Many people would say they do not like mornings because of the habits they have developed over time. My goal with this is not to change you, but to make you realize the power that developing a habit of waking up early to seek God can cause in every other aspect of your life.

A new year creates an opportunity for a fresh start. Over the next three days, we believe that as you pray, reflect and submit your plans to God, He will reveal His plan for you. We encourage you to pray, fast and study this devotional with friends and family.
