Join us in praying through the storms our country is facing with this 7-day reading plan featuring prayers from The One Year Pray for America Bible.
The Book of 2 Kings is a story of a nation struggling to be faithful to a good God and the consequences of that struggle. Amid the land's idolatry, bold men rose up to call out evil and call the nation back to God. In this week of devotionals, we will look at these men and learn from their boldness as we do an overview of the Book of 2 Kings. Written by J.R. Hudberg

What began as a victorious return to the land in Joshua ends in destruction, defeat, and exile in 2 Kings. The idolatry and sinfulness of Israel and Judah lead to their expulsion from the land - a final ignominy in a long history of unfaithfulness. Yet even in exile, God was preserving his people and the line of David for a future coming King, whose reign would know no end.

In this 31 day reading plan, enjoy Pastor Jeske's personal collection of biblical heroes. One of the many things the Bible does for us is to let us hear the stories of some rough and broken people who God found useful to Him. Learning by the example of others is a great way to learn.
