A Song of Praise to God Coming in Judgment
1Oh, #1 Chr. 16:23–33sing to the Lord a new song!
Sing to the Lord, all the earth.
2Sing to the Lord, bless His name;
Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day.
3Declare His glory among the nations,
His wonders among all peoples.
4For #Ps. 145:3the Lord is great and #Ps. 18:3greatly to be praised;
#Ps. 95:3He is to be feared above all gods.
5For #1 Chr. 16:26; (Jer. 10:11)all the gods of the peoples are idols,
#Ps. 115:15; Is. 42:5But the Lord made the heavens.
6Honor and majesty are before Him;
Strength and #Ps. 29:2beauty are in His sanctuary.
7#1 Chr. 16:28, 29; Ps. 29:1, 2Give to the Lord, O families of the peoples,
Give to the Lord glory and strength.
8Give to the Lord the glory due His name;
Bring an offering, and come into His courts.
9Oh, worship the Lord #1 Chr. 16:29; 2 Chr. 20:21; Ps. 29:2in the beauty of holiness!
Tremble before Him, all the earth.
10Say among the nations, #Ps. 93:1; 97:1; (Rev. 11:15; 19:6)“The Lord reigns;
The world also is firmly established,
It shall not be moved;
#Ps. 67:4He shall judge the peoples righteously.”
11#Ps. 69:34; Is. 49:13Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad;
#Ps. 98:7Let the sea roar, and all its fullness;
12Let the field be joyful, and all that is in it.
Then all the trees of the woods will rejoice before the Lord.
13For He is coming, for He is coming to judge the earth.
#(Rev. 19:11)He shall judge the world with righteousness,
And the peoples with His truth.

Worship in the Splendor of Holiness
1 # For ver. 1-13, see 1 Chr. 16:23-33 Oh sing to the Lord #Ps. 98:1; See Ps. 33:3a new song;
sing to the Lord, all the earth!
2Sing to the Lord, bless his name;
# [Isa. 52:7; 60:6] tell of his salvation from day to day.
3Declare his glory among the nations,
his marvelous works among all the peoples!
4For #See Ps. 48:1 great is the Lord, and #Ps. 18:3 greatly to be praised;
he is to be feared above #See Ps. 95:3all gods.
5For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols,
but the Lord #Ps. 115:15; Isa. 42:5; 44:24; Jer. 10:12made the heavens.
6Splendor and majesty are before him;
# [Ps. 78:61] strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.
7Ascribe to the Lord, O #Ps. 22:27 families of the peoples,
# See Ps. 29:1 ascribe to the Lord glory and strength!
8Ascribe to the Lord #Ps. 29:2 the glory due his name;
bring #[Ps. 45:12]; See Ps. 68:29; 72:10 an offering, and #Ps. 100:4come into his courts!
9Worship the Lord in #See Ps. 29:2 the splendor of holiness;#96:9 Or in holy attire

Ps. 114:7
tremble before him, all the earth!
10Say among the nations, #See Ps. 93:1 “The Lord reigns!
Yes, the world is established; it shall never be moved;
he will #ver. 13; See Ps. 9:8; 58:11judge the peoples with equity.”
11Let #See Ps. 69:34 the heavens be glad, and let #Ps. 97:1 the earth rejoice;
let #Ps. 98:7the sea roar, and all that fills it;
12let #[Isa. 35:1] the field exult, and everything in it!
Then shall all #[Isa. 55:12]the trees of the forest sing for joy
13before the Lord, for he comes,
for he comes #See Isa. 11:1-9to judge the earth.
He will judge the world in righteousness,
and the peoples in his faithfulness.
