Isolation ≠ seclusion. In isolation, fear is loud; in seclusion, God is heard. Where are you standing in this season of uncertainty: behind the closed doors of fear or in the waiting room of God's sovereignty? As with the disciples, God can change our lives in one visit, but He needs a private moment with us first. Make room for seclusion and God will intercede!

One way to understand what God wants to do through us by the power of the Holy Spirit is to take a closer look at what He did through Jesus’ disciples by the power of the same Holy Spirit. Take Peter, for instance, the first apostle to speak up at Pentecost. I am not trying to say everything, but I hope what you read will bring a biblically faithful perspective, if not the whole story.
