II Samuel 15:7-12

Rebellion is a spirit whose purpose is to cause the believer to use their pride as a catalyst to hurt and mislead others. Pride births rebellion and rebellion miscarries purpose. This three day plan will help you identify the spirit of rebellion and how to use the power Christ has given you to have victory over rebellion.

We often associate the word stewardship with money. While it’s true that we’re called to be good stewards of our finances, stewardship certainly doesn’t end with our bank accounts. In this plan, you’ll be challenged to consider the connection between stewardship and commitment, and you’ll be inspired to elevate your relationship with God to the top of your priority list. Each day’s reading includes a brief Scripture passage and relevant devotional.

2 Samuel depicts the ascension and reign of King David following the death of Saul and Jonathan. David united the kingdom, established Jerusalem as the capital city, and extended the territory of Israel. At the crescendo of the book, God promises David that "your throne shall be established forever" (2 Samuel 7:16). Despite David's wickedness, God ultimately fulfills his promises to David through the person and work of Jesus Christ.

By the end of this study, we pray that you will know God’s voice better, that you will know when and how he speaks, and feel compelled to obey. As we study Scripture, we will discover that God’s plan cannot be thwarted regardless of who is in power. The point of the original monarchy found in 1 and 2 Samuel, illustrates that from the beginning.
