Grief is hard. There are no words to erase our earthly pain, but there is an eternal reality where our loved ones are being held perfectly whole by our Savior. In this three day devotional with Casting Crowns, you will walk through loss, acknowledge our hurts, and remember Jesus for who He is - a loving, gracious God who holds us when we fall apart.

Continuing our examination of life as a Christ-follower using the metaphor of running a race on earth with running the “race of life” of Hebrews 12:1 we will discuss crossing the finish line and entering Heaven. Using Revelation 22,23 and various other resources from scripture we will discuss some of the conditions we will find in Heaven and how they compare with life on earth.

Christians live in light of eternity. But do we really know what heaven is? Where it is? When it is? What it will be like? And what we will do? I’m afraid many of us have settled for answers to these questions that are only half-true. In this reading plan, we’ll replace four half-truths about heaven with whole-truths that fuel our hope for our lives and work in the present.

The vocations represented in the characters of Easter can teach us a lot about God and how our work is a means of co-laboring with our risen King. In this four-day plan, we’ll look at the vocations of Mary, a baker, Barabbas, and Christ himself to draw out applications for our own work today.
