God was the first entrepreneur. He brought something out of nothing. He established order out of chaos. He created for the good of others. In this 3 day plan, you will see how God reveals His creative and entrepreneurial character throughout Scripture, validating our desire to create and giving us a theological foundation that deems the creation of new businesses, non-profits, and other cultural goods as service to the world.

Have you ever felt like your work is less significant than that of a pastor or “full-time missionary”? Have you ever sat through a “missions week” at your church feeling guilty that you aren’t “going” to “all nations” to make disciples of Jesus Christ? As the Scriptures in this reading plan will show, that guilt is unbiblical and unnecessary. Every time you step inside your school, your place of work, or your home, you are a full-time missionary, called to make disciples as you go throughout life.

As a writer, mother, and growth-minded individual, I am always looking for opportunities to learn. In the Bible, Jesus taught his followers using parables—simple stories to illustrate spiritual lessons. He is still doing this for me today. I  went out for a run one morning when it was dark and very cloudy, but the moon kept breaking through—so beautiful and peaceful. I felt so close to our Saviour, Jesus Christ. While running, I was reflecting on this season of Easter and the Holy Spirit impressed upon me the following in this 5-day plan leading up to Easter.
