The 24 elders and the four living creatures bowed down. They worshiped God, who was sitting on the throne. They cried out, “Amen! Hallelujah!” Then a voice came from the throne. It said, “Praise our God, all you who serve him! Praise God, all you who have respect for him, both great and small!” Then I heard the noise of a huge crowd. It sounded like the roar of rushing waters and like loud thunder. The people were shouting, “Hallelujah! Our Lord God is the King who rules over all. Let us be joyful and glad! Let us give him glory! It is time for the Lamb’s wedding. His bride has made herself ready.

Revelation 19 is a chapter in the Bible that presents a great multitude in heaven praising God and singing hallelujah. This praise is centered upon the Lamb of God. The Lord Jesus Christ is revealed as One riding a white horse. Jesus is described as a King with eyes as a flame of fire, with many crowns. He is shown returning to the earth, as He promised.
Are you in need of goodness in your life? So am I! I am a recovering Eeyore, but the more I taste God’s goodness, the harder it becomes to hang on to my crusty outlook. Instead, I’ve found myself delighted to be invited to God’s table in the wilderness, where His goodness overflows. This week, we will feast on God’s goodness in light of our needs and longings.
