Luke 22:1-8

¶ Now the feast of unleavened bread drew near, which is called the Passover. And the princes of the priests and scribes sought how they might kill him, but they feared the people. Then Satan entered into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve. And he went and spoke with the princes of the priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them. And they were glad and covenanted to give him money. And he promised and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude. ¶ Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover lamb must be killed. And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover lamb that we may eat.
