Leviticus 20

Leviticus 20
1¶ And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,
2Likewise, thou shalt say to the sons of Israel, Any man of the sons of Israel or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel that gives any of his seed unto Molech shall surely die; the people of the land shall stone him with stones.
3And I will set my face against that man and will cut him off from among his people because he has given of his seed unto Molech, contaminating my sanctuary and defiling my holy name.
4And if the people of the land should hide their eyes from the man, when he gives of his seed unto Molech, to not kill him,
5then I will set my face against that man and against his family and will cut him off with all those that fornicated after him, prostituting themselves after Molech.
6And the person that turns after spiritists or after diviners to prostitute themselves after them, I will even set my face against that person and will cut him off from among his people.
7Sanctify yourselves, therefore, and be ye holy, for I am the Lord your God.
8And keep my statutes and do them. I AM he who sanctifies you.
9For any man that curses his father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he has cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.
10¶ And the man that commits adultery with another man’s wife, he that commits adultery with his neighbour’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely die.
11And the man that lies with his father’s wife has uncovered his father’s nakedness; both of them shall surely die; their blood shall be upon them.
12And if a man lies with his daughter-in-law, both of them shall surely be put to death; they have wrought mixture; their blood shall be upon them.
13If a man shall join himself with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
14And if a man takes a wife and her mother, it is wickedness; they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you.
15And if a man copulates with a beast, he shall surely be put to death, and ye shall slay the beast.
16And if a woman approaches any animal, to join herself with it, thou shalt kill the woman and the animal; they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon themselves.
17And if a man shall take his sister, his father’s daughter, or his mother’s daughter and see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness; it is a wicked thing; and they shall be killed in the sight of the sons of their people; he has uncovered his sister’s nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.
18And if a man shall lie with a woman having her menstruation and shall uncover her nakedness, he has discovered her fountain, and she has uncovered the fountain of her blood; both of them shall be cut off from among their people.
19Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother’s sister, nor of thy father’s sister; for he uncovers his near kin; they shall bear their iniquity.
20And if a man shall lie with his uncle’s wife, he has uncovered his uncle’s nakedness; they shall bear their sin; they shall die childless.
21And if a man shall take his brother’s wife, it is an unclean thing; he has uncovered his brother’s nakedness; they shall be childless.
22¶ Keep, therefore, all my statutes and all my rights and do them, and the land where I bring you to dwell therein will not vomit you out.
23And ye shall not walk in the practices of the Gentiles which I shall cast out before you; for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.
24But I have said unto you, Ye shall possess their land, and I will give it unto you in possession of inheritance, a land that flows with milk and honey. I AM your God, who have separated you from the other peoples.
25Therefore, ye shall differentiate between clean animals and unclean and between unclean fowls and clean; and ye shall not defile your persons by animals or by fowl or by any manner of living thing that moves on the ground which I have separated from you as unclean.
26Ye must, therefore, be holy unto me, for I the Lord am holy and have separated you from the other peoples, that ye should be mine.
27And the man or the woman that consults with spiritists, or that is a diviner, shall surely die; they shall stone them with stones; their blood shall be upon them.

Leviticus 20
20
Idols and the Occult
1Adonai spoke to Moses saying:
2“Moreover, you are to tell Bnei-Yisrael: Anyone from Bnei-Yisrael or from the outsiders dwelling in Israel, who gives any of his children to Molech, should surely be put to death. The people of the land are to stone him with rocks.
3I also will set My face against such a person and will cut him off from among his people, because he has given his children to Molech, defiling My Sanctuary and profaning My holy Name.
4But if the people of the land all hide their eyes from that person, when he gives of his seed to Molech, and do not put him to death,
5then I will set My face against that man and against his family, and will cut him off, along with all who play the prostitute after him with Molech, from among their people.
6“The soul that turns to mediums or to soothsayers, prostituting himself with them, I will set My face against that soul and will cut him off from among his people.
7So consecrate yourselves and be holy, for I am Adonai your God.
8You are to keep My statutes, and do them. I am Adonai who sanctifies you.
9“Any man who curses his father or his mother should surely be put to death. He has cursed his father or mother, and his blood should be on him.
10“The man who commits adultery with another man’s wife, who commits adultery with his friend’s wife, both the adulterer and the adulteress should surely be put to death.
11“If a man lies with his father’s wife, and has uncovered his father’s nakedness, both of them should surely be put to death, and their blood should be on them.
12If a man lies with his daughter-in-law, both of them should surely be put to death. They have committed a perversion, and their blood should be on them.
13If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination, and they should surely be put to death. Their blood should be on them.
14If a man takes a wife and her mother, it is wickedness. They should be burned with fire—both he and they, so that there may be no wickedness among you.
15If a man lies with an animal, he should surely be put to death, and you are to kill the animal.
16If a woman approaches any animal, and lies down with it, you are to kill the woman and the animal. They should surely be put to death, and their blood should be on them.
17If a man takes his sister, his father’s daughter, or his mother’s daughter, and sees her nakedness, and she his, it is a shameful thing. They are to be cut off in the sight of the children of their people, for he has uncovered his sister’s nakedness, and will bear his iniquity.
18If a man lies with a woman during her niddah and exposes her nakedness, he has exposed her flow and she has uncovered the flow of her blood. Both of them are to be cut off from among their people.
19You are not to uncover the nakedness of your mother’s sister, or your father’s sister, for the one who does that has made his close relative naked, and will bear his iniquity.
20If a man lies with his aunt, he has uncovered his uncle’s nakedness. They should bear their sin, and die childless.
21If a man takes his brother’s wife, it is an impurity. He has uncovered his brother’s nakedness, and they will be childless.
22“Now you are to keep all My statutes and all My ordinances and do them, so that the land where I am bringing you to dwell will not vomit you out.
23You are not to walk in the ways of the nation which I am casting out before you, for they did all these things and therefore I abhorred them.
24But I have said to you, ‘You will inherit their land and I will give it to you to possess it, a land flowing with milk and honey.’ I am Adonai your God, who has set you apart from the peoples.
25“Also you are to make a distinction between the clean animal and the unclean, and between the unclean bird and the clean. And you are not to make your souls detestable by an animal or by a bird, or by anything with which the ground teems, which I have set apart as unclean for you.
26You are to be holy to Me, for I, Adonai, am holy, and have set you apart from the peoples, so that you would be Mine.
27“A man or a woman who is a medium or is a soothsayer should surely be put to death. They should stone them with rocks, and their blood should be on them.’”
